Our Commitment to a Healthy Campus: A Reminder on Our Smoke-Free and Vape-Free Policy

To maintain a healthy and safe environment for everyone, our university strictly prohibits smoking and vaping on all premises. This policy, which applies to all students, faculty, staff, and visitors, is fully in effect across all buildings, grounds, and facilities.

This initiative isn’t just a university rule—it’s grounded in national laws like the Clean Air Act of 1999 (Republic Act No. 8749) and the Tobacco Regulation Act of 2003 (Republic Act No. 9211). By adhering to this policy, we’re not only creating a better campus but also aligning with the country’s commitment to public health.

The ban covers all forms of tobacco and electronic products, including e-cigarettes, vapes, and hookah. Let’s work together to ensure our university remains a clean, safe, and welcoming space for all.
